What is life about? So, so, so many answers to that question. Some of them sound very good. But are they true? No matter how good an answer sounds, if it sends you off a cliff or into a wall the beauty turns ugly. To find the true answer requires seeing life from the source of all life. Only the creator of a thing can provide the definitive answer for the purpose of that thing. This book is a quest, a journey, a pilgrimage to discover the answer to that question from God's perspective; from where God sits. I make no claim to have arrived; I am a fellow traveler. As I've trekked, God has taken me through experiences of discovery. Some experiences I relished; others I resisted. But God has never given up on me. And He will not give up on you. If you listen carefully you will always hear His invitation to join Him where He sits. Through experiences with God, He has unwrapped some treasures of insight I share in this book. As someone who might be a few steps farther up the path, I hope these stories and ponderings move you to travel toward God, climbing up to where He sits, to see what He sees. Each time you go there you will discover satisfaction, meaning, joy, and life that only come from personal relationship and personal interaction with Christ. These chapters were originally written as an email newsletter that turned into a blog over a fifteen year period. People kept telling me to put them in a book. Recently, while sitting with God one day, it seemed He said it was time. When God says it is time, it is time! So, after revising, editing, rereading, tweaking, arranging and praying, here it is.
