The Championship would not have been possible without the men of Sunbury who braved growing a beard or a mustache for nearly four months; some after shaving off a beard they had for years so they could enter the contest clean shaven. This book commemorates the contest with the hope that it will inspire future contests on Sunbury's 225th, 250th, and beyond.
