The gang suddenly realize the evil they are up against. When things appear normal again, the gang receives devastating news and are forced to deal with the hardest situation they have ever experienced. Facing the bitter cold winter, they quickly leave and battle a full blown blizzard to reach the canal. It is packed with endless action and excitement. Monkey took out a safety pin in his backpack. He took the mustard seed, hooked the clasp around the pin, and pinned it on the inside of his backpack flap so he could see it every time he opened it. "It's alive! It's alive! What the heck is it doing alive?" As they were beating and kicking on the door, Monkey felt a human hand on his shoulder. He jumped and turned around. It was the ghost figure. Monkey screamed loudly! Do ya lads believe in leprechauns? "What do you mean black bag and beam of light, and then Monkey was gone?" The only noise was the cry of the wind, and the flowing water splashing against the ice patches. The story is not over! It continues directly into the third book of the Monkey's Gang 3-book series.
