Following The Muse

Here is a review of a Physicist who found inspiration in "Following the Muse" ..". This morning I wanted to take a short break from reading science, I picked up a copy of the book "Following the Muse." I had hardly read a paragraph on your journey through Iceland, when I was gripped by the power of your narration. I could not resist till I had reached the very end. While reading the book, I could feel the human spirit facing cold, loneliness and deprivation. I could feel the weather, I could feel the universe. I immediately connected human existence with the primordial and with eternity. It's been a long time since I have read something as gripping as this. You took me away. I followed your footsteps from your native land to Berkeley. In fact I could even see your ancestors departing from Calcutta Having read this, I felt a greater sense of inspiration for my work as a researcher in physics."
