Youth Bible History, Old and New Testaments are catechetical instruction using One Hundred Bible Stories (CPH:1988) Bible Story Book and Activity Book, with memory work from Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation. This lesson plan is set up for two years, a year on the Old Testament and a year on the New Testament with the memory work increasing from 3rd Grade to 4th Grade. It is set up so that either the Old or the New Testament catechetical lesson plan can be used first, thus allowing the two class groups to be combined. Each year is organized in 31 units with 1-2 lessons from the New and Old Testament half of One Hundred Bible Stories. Not all of the lessons are included in the 31 units. A leader's guide for these lessons is included at the end of the leaders guide.Each unit of both years of the Youth Bible History series includes assigned memory work, both from Luther's Small Catechism and selected bible passages from the Explanation of the same. The worksheets for both years are in Student Memory Work Worksheets, New & Old Testaments. Like the textbook and workbook, this book covers both years.
