Grimmack is simply a normal goblin, or as normal as one can be when you are illegally trained by a wizard to practice magic. He gets up, does chores, casts a few spells and goes to sleep. This changes when a mage hunter breaks down his door to arrest his master for using black magic and forces Grimmack, along with his fellow apprentice Kettrin to help hunt down their master. This forces Grimmack to hide his magic talent while trying to figure out a way to escape the fate that awaits him should the mage hunter figure out he has been trained in the arcane arts, which would be a quick beheading if he's lucky. If not it would be a trip to the Burnt Tower itself... While doing so he must navigate human perceptions, demons, and even elves while trying just get out of this mess alive.
