Columbus Impressions

Photographer Randall Lee Schieber, an Ohio native and long-time resident of Columbus, has spent years amassing some of the finest photographs of Ohio's thriving and ever-growing capital city.

A professional photographer for twenty-five years, Schieber has a particular love for exploring Columbus' unique landscapes and cityscapes and capturing the soul of a place, from the magical Topiary Garden to the German and Victorian villages, from the art-loving crowds at the Short North District to explosions of color from Red, White and Boom over the Arena District, from the stunning Franklin Park Conservatory to the stately capitol.

Columbus writer Robin Smith contributes informative captions and a fascinating foreword, offering an insider's view of what makes Columbus, well, Columbus. A city of rich history, a thriving arts scene, a foodie's paradise, a center for business and education an extraordinary place to visit and wonderful place to call home.
