In July of 1976, my brother sat on the bed across the room from me in a hostel in Greece. He said that he wanted me to know that he was happy where he was and that he wanted me to be happy too. My brother had died four months earlier. And so began my life long journey of discovering God and prayer. This is my story of how God has sent me signs, messages, and even angels to guide me through life. While dealing with my husband's alcoholism, and going through the break up of our marriage, and subsequent divorce, I learned to use prayer to give me strength, courage, and direction. I even prayed to the Virgin Mary, who made it possible for me to purchase a house. I am an ordinary person living an ordinary life, and through prayer, God made extraordinary miracles happen for me. By offering my story to others, I hope to give encouragement and the hope of better things to come to those in crisis.
