Deke Hernandez was a young man who searched for his purpose in life, in late twentieth century America. He thought he found it in a hedonistic, and materialistic lifestyle. Later, Deke started a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and became a professional boxer. Along with Angel, his Christian girlfriend, Deke searched for the purpose of life according to God. While God was revealing to them his purpose for their lives, an opportunity came Deke's way. It was an opportunity that could lead Deke to a world boxing title! However, was it an opportunity, or an evil temptation in disguise? What did Angel think of the possible opportunity? What did Deke do with the possible opportunity? Did Deke's decision stop him from fulfilling God's purpose for his life? Did Deke's decision help him fulfill God's purpose for his life? Find out, and see why "Becoming Purpose Driven" is like "The Purpose Driven Life", and "Rocky" put together.
