Each of us, no matter how disciplined, has a tendency to lie to ourselves; to not see clearly what is really going on; to spin facts and details to match our own (limited) understanding; to think that we are headed north when we are really going south. Deception is Satan's greatest weapon. Beyond the Compass is a tool to fight against deception.

This book is designed to help hear the voice of God and to possibly see what has not been seen through reading Scripture daily. Various Bible verses are used in each of the twenty-one interactive journal entries led with a thought-provoking question regarding commonly held assumptions and finishing with a True North absolute.
