About the author: Tom Procter was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and grew up in a small rural farm town in extreme northern California. Tom now lives in Silicon Valley and is working on two sequels to The Discovery Machine, a fiction novel, and a satirical fantasy humor cookbook targeting people who can't cook.
