Tony Mavrakos was raised in Salem Massachusetts. He left there to join the Air Force, which began a series of life-changing experiences. One assignment took him to Ankara Turkey, an Islamic country, where of all places he heard the gospel and committed himself to Jesus and to the ministry. He exchanged his eight years for a career of pasturing in Mississippi, Tennessee and Maryland. It was while Pastor Mavrakos was in Tennessee that he joined the Air National Guard and completed 22 years of military service for his country. Tony is well-qualified to share the subjects discussed in his book "God's Prescriptions for Healing the Hurts that Hinder Your Happiness." as he has recovered from a painful life of dealing with Anger and Anxiety. He has counseled many with these problems. He runs an anger and Anxiety Management Training Center in Dayton Tennessee where they also deal with the issue of "Bullying" and men who are domestic violators or have been domestically violated. He has also shared with thousands in churches and in seminars how to obtain victory over anger and anxiety through his "Faith Factor" program. Pastor Tony s presentation both in His seminars, training sessions and in this book combines humor, practical life experiences and Scriptural healing medication for Healing Your Hurts." No matter how young or old you will find solutions to lead you to recovery from your anger and anxieties through his powerful faith building program, "The Faith Factor." Pastor Tony is a man with a message from the Great Physician for you who need healing from your inner pains that prevent the happiness and freedom Christ's wants you to have. http: //www.HealingYourHurts.org rtmcc@hughes.net
