$34.61
The Last Rose is a lovely book of beautiful poetry and and thought provoking prose. From lofty words of love uttered in a garden of roses to the darkness of despair on Lover's Leap, from the inner struggles of man's inner madness to the joy of celebrating faith in God - the poetry and prose in this book are sure to touch your soul and enlighten your spirit. This book contains poetry touching all genres of life including those of divine inspiration. But this is not just a book of poetry - it also contains prose and short essays dealing with life, loss, and love. In a modern age that is hurried anxious, and threatening, the world sometimes seems to be a dark place indeed. But in this world of entropy and decay we can still find some wonder and beauty that has survived. In the darkness of his autumn season the author has personally discovered a divine symbol of hope . . . the last Rose of Summer.
