Rooted: Deepening Your Relationship with Jesus

-ABOUT THE BOOK: What does it look like to be rooted deeply in Christ? Those who are rooted in Christ are equipped to withstand the storms of life-like the wise man that built his house on a rock and was not "tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine" (Eph.4:14). They will find nourishment in Christ and peace that surpasses understanding. Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full" (John 15:10-11). God's will for every believer is that they abide in His will and have absolute confidence in their salvation. Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). To love God and discern why He put us here is our mission: "We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them" (Eph.2:10). With that confidence, we can be Rooted in our God-given purpose."That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend. . .what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:17-19).
