Who Should I Be Today?

Jaylene spent the majority of her life as a survivor buried in a multitude of secrets. She lived through intense sexual, emotional and domestic abuse that eventually culminated into a violent abusive lifestyle. After 20 years of living a life filled with hopelessness due to drug, alcohol, pornography, and sexual addictions, she made a choice during a church service that would change the rest of her life. It was at the church altar where she met the "love of her life". She has now been clean and sober for over 20 years and chooses each day to be a Christ Follower. Jaylene has a passion to reach people with a message of hope, and to let others know they are valuable. Together, Jaylene and her husband, Mike, have experienced deep sexual addiction in their marriage, which resulted in a pattern of multiple affairs that would have ended most marriages. However, instead of ending their marriage, they turned to Christ, and through His strength, they made the ultimate decision to see their relationship through these tumultuous times. They have now been married 30 years, and today, they help other couples walk through the pain and victory of healing and restoring broken marriages. Jaylene has a real passion to help encourage women through women's retreats, a place where women can get away from the busyness of life and be reminded of who they are in Christ. She has 3 children and 12 grandchildren that she thanks God for each and every day, and she is so grateful that she can be a part of their lives. They are each a gift from God that she feels she does not deserve, and therefore, she never takes them for granted.
