New Spain's Century of Depression

An analysis, using demographic data, of the Mexican colonial economy in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Those two centuries are the centuries which the book refers to in the text, which is what comprises the majority of the book. Mexico is discussed, as are other matters relating to Mexico, and people, who comprise the population of Mexico, which is the subject of this book.
