Dr. Monica Agyekum Aidoo was born in Seniagya, Ghana, West Africa. She is a theologian, teacher, preacher, pastor, musician, evangelist, intercessor, workshop facilitator, writer, administrator, and has trained or served in church denominational settings. She received professional training as a teacher at St. Monica's Teacher Training College at Mampong-Ashanti, Ghana, and also trained in music education at Winneba, Ghana, and in biblical studies and communication at Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya. The author received her master of divinity and doctor of ministries degrees at the International Theological Seminary, taking additional doctoral courses at Harvest University, both in Los Angeles. She founded the International Christian Women's Association for Empowerment (ICWAE), taught music in secondary schools, and also taught in Bible schools, where she trained and mentored ministers of the gospel serving God in various church settings.
