It is late in the 1970s in the south suburbs of Chicago and Randy Taylor has just begun his junior year at Rich South High School. Randy's a good looking, popular kid who makes good grades, comes from a nice family and is not above being the class clown. He's the eldest of three children, a brother one year younger and a sister just four years old. He's looking forward to college and the freedom it will bring. But for now life is good-home, school, track team and his job at the bowling alley. Yes, it's all good until the unthinkable happens, forcing a change in Randy's life he could never have predicted. Before long Randy is doing things and making decisions no teenager should ever have to face. But hey, you do what you have to do to survive. Right?
