Letters From A Loving Father: Inspired by The Holy Spirit for The Body of Christ

"Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy." (1 Corinthians 14:1)

"But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. "He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself, but he that prophesieth edifieth the church." (1 Corinthians 14:3-4)

The Holy Spirit plays many roles in the body of Christ. One of His names is Comforter. God commands us in the Word to, "Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God." (Isaiah 40: 1)

I pray that the Holy Spirit will edify, exhort, and comfort you. That is His role! Oh! How He loves you and me! "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted by God." (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
