My granddaughter, Kelsey, suffers from a genetic deficiency known as Adenosine Deaminase 2 (DADA2), with a manifestation known as polyarteritis nodosa (PAN). She was diagnosed at 3-years-old and started on injectable medication at that point. She has been receiving injections on a frequent basis ever since.
