They yearn to come back but they can't because of their obligations in the new set up .The book divided in six segments narrates the mixed feelings of migrant's family and a migrant who runs from pillar to post, crossing the boundaries of time and money to become one with his new surroundings, the pangs of loneliness of his beloved, his attachment with the new land, his longing to return to his homeland and a call of his motherland to come back.
