Mike was born on January 2nd1938 at Hollywood, California. Came to Seattle, Washington in 1940 with his mother and resided at 7701 13th S W on Holden Street in the Highland Park District. Mike went from K through 8th grade at Highland Park Grade School; his freshman year at Denny Jr. High; and his sophomore year at the Great West Seattle High School. He graduated from St. Martin's High School at Lacey, Washington on June 1st, 1956. He entered the US Air Force on Sept. 7, 1956 and was honorably discharged in San Antonio, Texas on Sept. 6, 1960. He served two years at a top secret intel location on Okinawa from 1957 to 1959 then returned to the state of Washington in 1965 and spent the next 40 years in that area mostly in the trucking business as a driver. Mike retired from the Teamsters Union on October 1, 1995 after six and a half years of employment with the BOEING Co. as a semi driver. He's a lifelong avid salmon fisherman, lifelong gym rat, a serious longtime classic car owner, and a forever patriot of the USA.
