Literature gives us an insight to look at the world and we form our views based on it. It is an inevitable phenomenon in human life since ancient time. It has occupied a vast area of human transactions and touched all the aspects of human life. It is noted that there has been constant alterations and innovations in this field of study with the emergence of technology and study tools. There is a huge difference between what literature demonstrated in the ancient time and what it stands today. The Emerging technology has quite greatly formed a considerable effect on the communication and study of literature. The area of English literature has been expanded immensely today which never has been the case before a few decades. A great number of literary books-fiction and non-fiction-are being written in English around the world and hence the scope of literatures in English has been widened extensively. It is necessary to track systematically the development of literatures in English and the different study genres.
