Dravya-daan is my collection of selected poems .The Twelve Stages of the Human Life Cycle by Thomas Armstrong describes the 10th stage of life as Mature Adulthood (Ages 50-80) and has been called as benevolence or "Dravya-daan". "Dravya-daan" is an attempt to give something back to society through my experience. For someone, who has started poetry purely as a hobby and that too very late in his life, my sole aim is to share my feelings which I have gained across a highly active and versatile life. I have also made an attempt to comment on contemporary issues through my poetry. Poetry, I feel has both connotations, it is a timeless entity, as well as it is also a comment on contemporary issues. Though, I do not claim to be very rich in terms of academic degrees, but I certainly hope that my readers will develop an instant connect with my observations on day-to-day life affairs through poetry.
