Dani travels out west to the BBR ranch to help her grieving sister Victoria. Victoria's husband John owned the BBR ranch and took care of most of the business dealings of the ranch. Now that John is gone, Victoria has to figure out ranch management on her own. Dani uproots her own life to help her sister and commits two years of her life to live with her sister. Dani meets two interesting men at the BBR. She is immediately attracted to one of them but doesn't think he shows an interest in having a relationship with her. The other man, who Dani is somewhat attracted to and has fun with, makes a point to tell Dani that he is interested in a relationship with her. She becomes friends with both men and through these friendships and her work at the ranch she discovers many things about each of them as well as about herself. Dani comes to the conclusion that our willingness to wait reveals the value we place on the object we are waiting for, and initially she feels that if she can't have the man she longs for, physically, emotionally and spiritually, she does not want anyone. Will wisdom teach her a better way and lead her to her destination? Will she discover the right path before it's too late? Which man will she choose? The one she is attracted to or the one who makes her feel good about herself as a woman? If love is truly worth the wait, can she endure the waiting?
