This is a story of two sisters who God has brought through the wilderness, two sisters who have had immense pain, trauma, heartache, abuse, neglect, rejection, and the heartbreaking loss of a child. We are these sisters, and we are survivors. Better than that, we are thriving, thanks to the love and redemption of Jesus! There is nothing God cannot do. We are living proof of that. No part of either of us wanted to write this story to face the pain all over again and to open wounds that we have pushed down. But the Holy Spirit would not let it go. The cry of our hearts is that if just one person can have some hope, a new beginning, a sense of "Hey, maybe I am not alone," then this is all worth it. Lorna Goss: Lorna was born in Portland Oregon. She now resides in a small town in Eastern Oregon. She and her husband have a small country store; she loves to garden and can food and enjoys working in her yard. She also enjoys drawing; painting and decorating. She has been given a heart to help people; those who have struggled with abuse; loss; and brokenness. She is gifted in warrior and intersession. Jolene Rider: Jolene was raised in the surrounding Portland Oregon area. She lives in Texas on a farm with her husband and granddaughter where they have chicken; cats; two dogs; and honeybees. She loves decorating her home attending church spending time with her family. She is strong in her faith with God and loves sharing encouraging words from him with others who God chooses. She also has a heart to help people thru grieving of a loss of a loved one.
