About the Illustrator Tara Bouderau was born in Queens, NY and is the older sister of the author. Tara graduated from Queens College with a Bachelors of Fine Art and continued on to obtain a Masters in Education from the New York Institute of Technology. She now teaches high school art classes in Long Island, NY.
