My name is Carolyn Ernest. I was born and raised in Culver City and Hollywood Hills and North Hollywood. I was living in Tujunga when the Selmar quake happened. I left the area in 1985 and then answered God's call to become a nurse and have been caring for people for the last 33 years, but I still remember the way my house moved and the destruction from that quake vividly that along with a dream I had (sent: I feel, from God) is why I wrote this book. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to classic Hymns and painting. I love animals and have four dogs and a 21-year-old cat.
