Sudan was at civil war before it gained independence in 1955 until 1972 Addis Ababa Accord signed that gives South Sudan Autonomy Government seated in Juba. The second civil was born as a result of application of Sharia law and abolition of the Addis Ababa Agreement by Islamic regime in Khartoum, transfer of South Sudan army to the north and referral of refinery to the north as well as digging of Jongeli Canal. The mutinies was organised by battalions 105 and 104 which was based in Bor and Ayod under the commands of Late Kerubino and late William resulting to the killing of thousands of the regime soldiers in May 16 and June 6 1983. The SPLM/A was formed with the two different ideologies "separation" and "secular united Sudan". The separatist and unionist ideology was cause of the split and the death of many founding fathers of the nation SPLM/A. This was until Navisha Agreement was signed in Nairobi Kenya in 2005 leading to the formation of the Transitional government of national unity. The rights of self-determination were exercise and the 99.9% vote for separation leading to its independence on 9 July 2011. After 2 years from independence the war within SPLM (Kiir and Riek) broke out until peace agreement signed in August/September 2015 leading to formation of transitional government. Due to some reservations from the Kiir and Machar dogfight erupted in J1 in 2016 until 2018 Revitalise Agreement signed.
