Raven By BloodRaven is in Charlie's blood. He's a native woodcarver in southeast Alaska. Charlie's a half-breed, Tlingit and white. He's a part of the Kiks.adi, called the "Bitter Unwholesome Water tribe," because of the silty, murky water from the Stikine River. The tribe lives where the Stikine empties into the ocean. His father and aunt are worried about him. His aunt asks the spirits for help, and assistance arrives in the form of a raven, Charlie's totem. The raven serves his own agenda, shadowing Charlie.
