Seasons Greetings: Poems about seasonal depression

Season's Greetings is a collection of poetry bringing to life the highs and lows of seasonal affective disorder (or more commonly known as, Seasonal Depression). Seasonal affective disorder is a mood-altering disorder that for most people, comes and goes around the same time of the year and causes periods of depression. This collection illustrates my emotions throughout the changing seasons and will hopefully be relatable for others who too suffer from SAD. There is a poem written for every month of the year that depicts the emotional burdens or breakthroughs I faced during those months. Depression affects over 300 million people around the world. My goal is to connect with people who may have faced similar emotions during extended periods of depression. Blank spaces are left throughout the book for people to add their own illustrations, notes, ideas, and inspired poems.
