Finally, Jenna and Adam are rescued by park rangers. Their happy ending finds them the owners of a beautiful white colt with sparkling blue eyes. Such Appaloosas are bred on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, and it is said their blue eyes are considered a spirit animal. Silent Voice in the Mountains is the first book in a trilogy. Volume 2 is Silent Cries in the Mountains and Volume 3 is Lost Spirit in the Mountains.
