In the northwest part of Nevada there is a large home ranch. This ranch, in this book, is called the Seven Starr Ranch. I knew one of the out ranch managers. My children and his wife played in town and during hunting season I was permitted to sleep in the bunk house and hunt on the property for many years. On one trip we went to the home ranch. It was there I saw the store house, children play areas, homes for the employees, and the main ranch home. This experience later came to my mind as a movie and I wrote the Seven Starr Ranch.
