Wounded But Alive : An Attempt To Deal With Depression In The "Church Family"

We were all given a specific promise to ignite our specific purpose by Elohim our Mighty Creator. The promise may not be clear in entirety when you get it. However, when the purpose is fulfilled you will realize the promise from the big picture of the manifested purpose. Let me attempt to make it clear for you. Joseph/Yoseph (Phonetic: yo-safe') was given the Promise which was revealed to him directly from Yahweh in dreams. He got the prophecy of the promise and then the confirmation of the prophecy via dreams. Attach to the Promise was his purpose. Between the time when the promise was given, and the manifestation of the purpose is a gap, which I will refer to as "betwixt & between journey". From your birth to death there is a gap I also call, "betwixt & between journey" that you must complete through your lifestyle.To get to your purpose you must take this journey, which is unknown to you until you have traveled it. It is in this gap ("betwixt & between journey") that the devil and its demons set up schemes to try to abort the purpose. Nevertheless, God allows the attacks because He wrote your life's purpose in His Masterplan before you were conceived in your mother's womb. The wheel of your life that God spun in motion, cannot be stopped unless you give the devil access to abort it. If the promise is not manifested, then the purpose is aborted. Depression will abort your purpose if you give up while on your "betwixt and between journey". Depression arises from the stress of daily living. When stress dominates the sound mind, depression wraps itself around the individual like a garment. How you deal with depression when 'wearing' it, will determine the length of time you allow it to be in control of your life. Depression will stick you, but do not give it lodging for it to stay with you. No extended stay should be allowed. You might not know when that special visitor will show up but be prepared to check it out even when it wants to extend its stay. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. says, "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
