Paulie Ana

Paulie Ana lived and worked in New York City in a busy neighborhood where there were lots of stores and restaurants. Mr. Alto made the rules in the neighborhood. He got people jobs and helped them to solve their problems, but in return, Mr. Alto made sure that those people were loyal to him and obeyed his wishes. When they didn't, he told Paulie to "pay them a visit." Everyone in the neighborhood knew Paulie worked for Mr. Alto and no one wanted to see Paulie coming. But that was because no one really knew him. Paulie's eyes were amiable and kind and the same exact color as a mug full of velvety smooth hot chocolate. One look in those eyes (if anyone dared to get that close) and you could tell that Paulie Ana was as gentle as a warm hug.
