The Reunions Of The Jenks Family Of Oakland County, Michigan - 1911-1927

The Jenks family came to Oakland County, Michigan, in 1820 when the patriarch, Laban Jenks, uprooted his family one last time, left New York, and headed for the new wilderness of the Federal Land in the Michigan peninsula. That family started to gather back at the homestead build by his son, Morris Jenks, in 1911 and the meetings rotated to various family members over the next 16 years. Aunt Evelyn Seymour Jenks was recording the events of the reunions and the births, marriages, and deaths that occurred during the period between reunions.
