Time is like a vapor. It's the one commodity we can never reproduce or get a refill on. There are no do-overs in life, and despite our desire for more, once time is gone, it's not coming back. It's been nearly six years since I last volunteered at the homeless shelter downtown, such a long time ago. And what began as a church outreach, turned into a 3 year stretch of meeting people, and listening to their stories, as I dished out goulash and tater tots.
