Relieved But Deceived: Living Life After Abortion

I had my first abortion in the late 50s. I thought it was the easy way out of my pregnancy. It would eliminate another unwanted baby. Getting rid Of babies had become a way of life for me. It didn't matter how it happened... either a back alley job or through a professional physician. All that mattered was that I get rid of it! The pain of abortion is physical, and yet there is another pain that the pro-abortion brochures and pamphlets can't convey. It's the emotional trauma that takes root after the abortion. Sometimes it happens right after the abortion and is played off, or it's pushed aside. Sometimes it happens years after the abortion. Little did I realize the effects that my abortions unknowingly had on me such as promiscuity, self-hatred, shame and guilt, only to name a few. My story is not complicated--it's simple. I just didn't know the truth at the time of my actions. I didn't know the truth about how the hidden effects of aborting babies had infiltrated my very soul. That's why I've got to tell my story. I've got to tell women the real deal!
