This book consists of three short stories that deal with a very controversial and taboo topic: child sexual abuse. Story 1 involves acclaimed author, motivational speaker, and survivor Cassidy Shaw. She mentors and befriends Audrey Palmer, a 12-year-old who is dealing with the aftermath of her abuse. Through her own story and experience, Cassidy teaches Audrey how to heal, restore, and thrive after trauma. While most of the story is fiction, Cassidy's abuse story is my own true account of what happened to me. Story 2 features Maddison Crawford, the newest resident of New York City who seeks professional counseling for her traumatic childhood. She finds Dr. Elliot Levingston, a kind and compassionate counselor who, along with a new friend and love interest challenge Maddison to leave her past behind and embrace a brighter future. Story 3 features college student Judah Collins who befriends heroin addict Tony. Although she has her own problems with her father, a retired reverend and a male cousin stuck in the past, Judah makes it her mission to save Tony; who's addiction was caused by being both a victim and perpetrator of abuse. Through their journey, other characters are introduced who all sum up a tale of redemption, love, and forgiveness.
