Since having lived in a democratic society during World War II, it is Ivan's dream to defect from his communist country. Not just for himself, but for the family he loved, for his wife Katya, who carries their unborn child and for his son Gregor. He wishes the future for his family to be in America. With his pregnant wife and son at home, he needs to find a way to get them all with him. He has a plan. Will it work? It must.
