Jephthae was a man in the bible that faced many adversities. His mother was a harlot and his father married another woman and had sons by her. These sons rejected Jephthae, took away his inheritance, and forced him to leave town. It wasn't his fault he was an outside child nor that his mother was a prostitute in spite of may obstacles he faced. God used him mightily and he was mentioned in Hebrews 11:33 as one of the heroes of faith. Most of the writers in this book are sharing there personal testimony of how they overcame adversity. No one has to suffer in silence. There is hope for you in Christ Jesus.
