Goodbye, Christian Whore: Seeking a Heart for One Love

I had all the head knowledge of God, I even had some heart knowledge. I had personal moments with God, but our ongoing intimate relationship was deeply lacking. And I really couldn't figure out why.Christianity is simple, as simple as one scoop of vanilla ice cream in a bowl. Somewhere along the journey, most Christians begin adding to that bowl and before too long there's a sloppy, gooey bowl of overflowing toppings where the one simple scoop once stood.
