As a witness and a survivor of the Holocaust, I went through numerous tormented events during the postwar period, when the Jewish population was a subject to the insult, humiliation, and murder by Stalin's hangman. The world knew not so much about the real situation in this country where people lived behind the "Iron Curtain." In today's world of the uncertainty, it is worth to learn the past.
