This book was inspired by the fact that too many teenagers (under the age of 16) who become pregnant, are seen as instigators, rather than victims. Also, an experience such as this has caused several young ladies to become depressed and conclude that their lives are not worthwhile. Recognizing the increasing problem of teenage pregnancy as well as the lasting effect this type of accusation and experience can have on a young girl, the personal experience of the author has motivated her to tell her side of the story of a girl who got pregnant at age 14 and became a mother few months after her 15th birthday. Her intention is to share her life experiences as a child, pre-teen and teenaged mother with: 1.Teenagers or young mothers who might be having similar experiences. She would like to help them understand that being a teen mother is not the end of life and that their future can still be fulfilling; 2.Teenagers who are currently in school, as a deterrence to teenage pregnancy; 3.Parents of teenaged children, to help them understand how to relate to them; 4.Anyone who is interested in the well-being of children and concerned about the growing prevalence of teenaged pregnancy in our society.
