If you're not inclined, or just don't want to spend hours reading a story to see how it ends, here is my quick read series of short stories, each of which can be read in less than two hours. The first tale is about a fellow who is cursed with the power of death. After, accidentally, killing his wife, he seeks a way to have the curse lifted. Story two is about the experiences of several cab drivers in the mid seventies. Driving a hack isn't what you might think. Story three tells of a youngster who wants to join his neighborhood gang and is willing to do just about anything to be accepted. After committing an initiation crime, he discovers the gang isn't what he thought.
