This is a workbook for "Because you were here..." - an 8 week Christian grief workshop with a strong emphasis on the Christian hope of resurrection and eternal life in Jesus Christ. The workshop focuses on our walk with our Lord and the comfort we find in the Lord when we mourn. Although this workbook was originally written for a grief workshop hosted by our congregation, we noticed that participants were taking their workbooks to their grieving friends and going over the contents in one-on-one sessions. It has become apparent to us that this is a resource not restricted to group work, but with much potential. We hope that you will find this workbook a blessing, comfort, and encouragement as you work through it. Although the contents are self-explanatory, a version of the workbook with the facilitator's notes will soon be made available.
