Purposefully Broken

Denise M. Major's debut book 'Purposefully Broken' chronicles how she went from being the victim of sexual abuse as a toddler, to adjusting to life as a teen mom, learning to restart her life after marriage and redesigning her destiny to become an empowerment mentor and the founder of one of the largest organizations for girls in the Caribbean. She unmasks the hurt, hardships and misunderstandings that young women go through as they search to find themselves after being lost in a world where they feel alone. Majors' powerful story has been shared in many conferences and at speaking engagements. Now, she's returned to her journalism roots and penned 'Purposefully Broken' to show young women that their mess today will be the catalyst to help them deliver a message tomorrow. 'Purposefully Broken' is mandated reading for several youth organizations, schools, and teen resource centers.
