Mama's Little Lady is different from the other ponies. One front leg is shorter than the other one. The ponies on Mrs. Smith's farm tease and bully Mama's Little Lady, but she is brave because she wants to give the children rides. Week after week, Mama's Little Lady goes to the riding pen even though the other ponies call her gimpy, and none of the children want to ride her. One day, a grey pony pushes Mama's Little Lady into a mud puddle. The children waiting at the fence laugh. Mama's Little Lady hangs her head and cries, but a little girl with a bright pink ribbon in her hair points to her and shouts, "That one..." Is this little girl going ride Mama's Little Lady? Children learn from an early age that there are lots of others who are different, and it is important to give those who aren't like us a chance to be our friends. BULLYING HURTS! DON'T BE A BULLY.
