In today's modern world we have seen an increase of "hands-on" fathers. This has come to light for many different reasons: 1) Traditional marriages where a Dad wants to devote his individual time to his children 2) The increase of two income families where both parents coordinate schedules to devote time caretaking 3) Non-traditional stay-at-home Dads which are the primary caretakers 4) Single fathers who are actively involved in caretaking 5) Homes that have multiple fathers As a father I have gained entry and vision into this world, I have seen Dads in schools, on playdates, at different events for their children being extremely active participants in the child's life. Discussions about the ways different father involve themselves in active play with their children, have also been an inspiration. Daddy Time is a story that speaks to those fathers and the connection from the child's frame of reference.In Daddy Time, we watch a child's excitement of getting ready to spend time with her Daddy.
