Facing the Dragon: A Motivational Story

Become A Dragon SlayerWhat did you want to be when you grew up? An astronaut? An artist? An athlete?Did you want to change the world? When we're young, we're told that anything is possible. But as we get older, society starts to send us a different message. Reaching for our dreams is too hard, we're told. And that often seems true. We are told to take careers that are safe, that are common, that we can rely upon to pay the bills. When we do that, our sense of life purpose often becomes divorced from our career. We have spent too long listening to how society defines us. But that sense of purpose we knew as children still lives inside us.This book is for those who want a purpose-driven life. Whether your life purpose is to experience all that life has to offer, to be the best parent you can possibly be, or to be the best artist, scientist, stock broker, or athlete - all of these purposes are good and useful, and all of them require a few common elements. In this book, instead of being lectured about your life purpose, I'd like to invite you onto a journey of the heart with me. I'd like to invite you into a world just like ours, but different in one way. In this world, a person's life purpose is something they can see.May the story of Jonah finding his life purpose be of service to you in finding yours.
